Job summary

Chicanos Por La Causa, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Certified Peer Support Worker to empower clients on their journey toward recovery and housing stability.

You will lead peer support, mentor teammates, coordinate daily operations, and ensure trauma-informed services across Rapid Rehousing and Transitional Housing programs. You bring lived experience, empathy, strong boundaries, and cultural competence to a fast-paced team dedicated to helping individuals and families move toward stability

Qualifications

• Must be CPSW through a recognized program, such as NM training.
• Lived experience with mental health or substance use challenges.
• Experience with homelessness or supportive housing is desirable.
• Trauma-informed care principles and cultural competency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct peer support and leadership for Housing Support Specialist team.
• Coordinate daily operations and support program compliance and reporting.
• Assist clients from crises to housing stabilization within trauma-informed care.
