Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Lead Service Sales Engineer within 50 miles of Syracuse, Amherst, Clifton Park, or Rochester, NY. The role combines sales leadership with deep technical expertise to sell Eaton's electrical services to industrial, utility, commercial, data center and institutional customers.

You will build strong relationships with distributors, end users and contractors, coach partners, and present quotations with support from our technical application team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five (5) years of electrical sales, field service or electrical industry experience.
• Possess and maintain a valid & unrestricted driver's license.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration employment for this position.

Responsibilities

• Consult with customers in different market verticals and provide solutions to their electrical problems.
• Maintain regional responsibility for all services orders and opportunity activity.
• Train and empower channel partners and manufacturing agents.
• Be a subject matter expert on the services offerings and coach the organization.
• Act as the voice of the customer to Eaton's services operations and marketing teams.
• Collect, analyze and utilize market intelligence on customer needs and trends.
• Prepare and present quotations with support from the technical team.
• Deploy market-based growth strategies to expand services product lines.
