Job summary

Steinman Recruiting Associates is seeking a Lead - Principal Engineer - Architect to coach and guide a small team in high-speed digital circuit design, especially SerDes architectures, for diverse industrial and automotive applications. You will own the digital design from architecture through verification, and work across cross-functional teams to achieve rapid tapeouts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record designing, leading, and launching products to market.
• Designs digital blocks, subsystems, and top-level designs using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Develops block-level testbenches and collaborates with verification teams for full-chip verification and coverage.
• Performs block/top-level linting, CDC analysis, and timing closure assistance.
• Communicates with mixed-signal designers to support simulations across analog/digital boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Own the digital circuit design throughout the development cycle.
• Technically lead the design and development of complex SerDes products.
• Evaluate architectures and mentor a small design team.
• Provide hands-on RTL design, verification, and lab/silicon debugging.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive fast tapeouts and customer solutions.
