Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit in Irvine, CA seeks a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and Leads at client sites. You will ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed and reports filed, while delivering quality customer service.

You will coach, train, and schedule staff, coordinate with management and client representatives, and help maintain security coverage and incident response. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination.
• May be required to hold and maintain applicable state, county, and municipal licenses for Security Officers.
• Knowledge of security operations with emphasis on patrol, inspection and response services.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and supervise staff; communicate effectively.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow written or diagrammatic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and others; ensure post orders are followed.
• Coach and discipline personnel; document coaching actions.
• Train Officers; review post orders and assignments with the team.
• Assist in payroll and personnel information submissions.
• Ensure adequate coverage across posts and positions.
• Prepare, file, and submit required reports.
• Inspect posts and outline tasks with subordinates.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
• Perform supervisory duties including hiring, orientation, and performance appraisal.
