WSP USA is seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer – Lead Professional to join our Boise, ID office, with consideration for Clarkston, WA; Portland, OR; San Diego, CA; and other locations. You will provide technical leadership on ESSP projects covering electrical studies, SCADA, and protection, guiding teams to deliver compliant, safe, and effective power delivery designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 7–10 years of post-education experience as an electrical engineer on power generation/transmission/distribution projects.
  • Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
  • Proven track record of safety compliance and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership for the design, engineering, and commissioning of utility and commercial power projects.
  • Develop and commission transmission and distribution substations, protection and control schemes.
  • Lead project teams, resolve complex technical challenges, ensure designs meet standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate, review, and approve electrical infrastructure design plans for mid-level and complex projects.
