Job summary

WSP is seeking a SCADA Engineer - Lead Professional for our Boise, ID office, with consideration for Clarkston, WA; Portland, OR; San Diego, CA; Denver, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; and Ft. Lauderdale, FL offices.

Lead design, engineering, and commissioning of utility-scale SCADA and protection systems. You will guide teams, solve complex challenges, and ensure compliance with industry standards using tools like Wonderware and RTAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of post-education experience in electrical engineering for power projects.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to project needs.
• Ability to uphold safety policies and conduct.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and commissioning of substation and protection systems.
• Coordinate data transfer between control centers and equipment; develop HMI screens.
• Design and configure RTUs, IEDs, HMIs, and related SCADA equipment.
• Develop and implement control schemes for power system operation.
