Job summary

WSP seeks an experienced SCADA Engineer – Lead Professional to join the Boise, ID office, with consideration for Clarkston, WA; Portland, OR; San Diego, CA; Denver, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; and other locations. The role provides technical leadership in ESSP projects including substations, protection, and control systems.

You will guide design, engineering, and commissioning, develop data transfer schemes, HMI screens, and ensure adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of post-education experience in electrical engineering for power generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Willingness to travel as needed and adapt to changing schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop and commission transmission and distribution substations, power distribution, and protection systems.
• Lead project teams, resolve complex technical challenges, ensure code compliance.
• Design and implement SCADA/EMS/ADMS interfaces and control schemes.
