Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer – Lead Professional to support our ESSP team across multiple offices, including Boise, Clarkston, Portland, San Diego, Denver, Salt Lake City, and more.

You will provide technical leadership for the design, engineering, and commissioning of utility and commercial power projects, with opportunities to mentor staff and advance complex SCADA/EMS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in design for power generation, transmission, and distribution.

Responsibilities

• Provide design leadership for transmission and distribution substations and protection/control systems.
• Develop and commission power system projects and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead project teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and support HMI and data transfer schemes.
• Travel to project sites as needed for testing and commissioning.
