Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years of post-education experience in electrical engineering for SCADA projects in power generation, transmission, and distribution.
• Advanced proficiency with electrical engineering principles, design and QA/QC.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in design, engineering, and commissioning of utility SCADA projects across transmission and distribution.
• Coordinate and review electrical infrastructure design plans for mid-level and complex projects.
• Develop data transfer schemes, HMI screens, and remote/test data networks for control systems.
• Design and configure network paths for RTUs, IEDs, HMIs, and related SCADA equipment.
• Document and implement control logic for power system equipment, including microgrids and Volt/Var control.
