Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will help customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and assist in store housekeeping and displays, reporting to the Store Manager to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role includes duties performed by Sales Associate and may serve as lead in the absence of the Store Manager.

Formación

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Ability to perform cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash handling, facility, and safety policies.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposits.
• Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate merchandise on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom; assist sidewalk displays.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
