Job summary

ExcelCare At Wayne is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit within our skilled nursing facility. You will ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, support admissions and documentation, and foster a positive, resident-centered care environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams
• Commitment to resident-centered care

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Supervising, supporting, and mentoring LPNs and CNAs on the unit
• Ensuring residents receive high-quality nursing care per care plans and physician orders
• Monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team
• Completing and reviewing documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Participating in care plan meetings and collaborating with other departments
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Addressing staff concerns and maintaining a positive team environment
