Job summary

ExcelCare At Wayne is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit within our skilled nursing facility. You will ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team, support admissions and documentation, and foster a positive, resident-centered care environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

ExcelCare At Wayne, a leading provider of rehabilitation and healing services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team in our skilled nursing facility. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and strong support for nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Supervising, supporting, and mentoring LPNs and CNAs on the unit
• Ensuring residents receive high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
• Monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Completing and reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Participating in care plan meetings and collaborating with other departments to support resident needs
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Addressing staff concerns and helping maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
