Job summary

Excel Care is seeking an RN Unit Manager to lead a nursing unit and coordinate daily clinical operations in a skilled nursing setting. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensure care plans and physician orders are followed, and monitor residents' conditions in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires an active RN license and prior supervisory experience, with a focus on compassionate, resident-centered care and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Experience in skilled nursing facility or long-term care preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit.
• Supervising, supporting, and mentoring LPNs and CNAs on the unit.
• Ensuring residents receive high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders.
• Monitoring resident conditions and communicating changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Completing and reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participating in care plan meetings and collaborating with other departments to support resident needs.
• Assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Addressing staff concerns and helping maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment.
