Job summary

Excelcare at Lewes is seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager to lead the daily clinical operations of a nursing unit in our skilled nursing facility. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, ensure high-quality resident care, and maintain regulatory compliance while supporting nursing staff.

The role requires an active RN license, strong leadership, and excellent communication within an interdisciplinary team. Competitive salary starts at $95,000/year with benefits and dailyPay options.

Qualifications

• RN license active and current
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations of the assigned nursing unit
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs on the unit
• Ensure high-quality nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Complete and review documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Participate in care plan meetings and collaborate with other departments to support resident needs
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Address staff concerns and help maintain a positive, team-oriented work environment
