Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive nursing care and lead nursing staff. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate responses to treatment. The role requires strong documentation, communication, and teamwork across disciplines.

You will coordinate patient care plans, participate in multidisciplinary teams, and supervise non-licensed staff during shifts. A Minnesota RN license and BLS are required on hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check as required by Minnesota.
• Excellent communication skills across disciplines and at various levels.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Attention to detail, organization, and prioritization.
• Computer skills including Word.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the delivery of nursing care by other team members.
• Develops comprehensive nursing care plans reflecting patient needs.
• Plans, implements, and coordinates nursing care activities for assigned patients.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment staffing and development of treatment plans.
• Performs physician-ordered treatments and medication administration.
• Ensures accurate documentation in EMR and paper tools.
