Mille Lacs Health System in Minnesota is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality patient care across Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Emergency, and senior care settings. The role emphasizes continuity of care through the nursing process and strong teamwork.

The RN will supervise LPNs and Health Unit Coordinators, maintain certifications, and ensure accurate documentation while upholding patient privacy and compassionate service, in rotating 12‑hour shifts.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• ACLS within 3 months of hire.
• PALS within 6 months of hire.

Mansioni

• Provide quality care in multiple settings: Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical (inpatient/outpatient), Emergency, Senior Care, Nursery, Chemotherapy and Ambulance Transport as needed/delegated*,
• Maintains certifications in all areas within scope of practice*.
• Supervision of LPNs, Nursing Assistants and Health Unit Coordinators as needed*.
• Effectively utilize nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation; maintain patient care plan with computerized documentation*.
• Customer Service: protect privacy and dignity, courteous and respectful communication, maintain confidentiality*.
• Initiative: complete duties timely, train new staff*.
• Teamwork: mentor newcomers, collaborate, support organizational change*.
• Communications: ensure policy compliance, document patient information to proper resources; accurate admission, discharge, meds, teaching, I/O*.
