Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System in Minnesota is seeking an RN to deliver comprehensive nursing care and provide nursing staff leadership. You will assess patient needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate responses to treatment, directing the delivery of nursing care by the care team.

Responsibilities include coordinating care, participating in multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR. Requires MN RN license and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, active Registered Nurse license in Minnesota.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check as required by Minnesota law.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient on admission and develop a plan of care based on a comprehensive assessment.
• Serve as primary nursing care coordinator for assigned patients and ensure coordinated care.
• Develop comprehensive nursing care plans that reflect total patient needs and integrate the medical care plan.
• Plan, implement and coordinate nursing care activities for assigned patients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment staffing and treatment plan development.
• Perform nursing interventions requiring physician orders and RN licensure, including medications and treatments.
• Document patient progress and nursing activities in the EMR and other tools.
