Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare in Elbow Lake, MN, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process. You will supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, and students, and coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians and staff.

This role requires MN RN licensure, BLS, and a willingness to obtain ACLS/CALS within the first year. You're expected to follow hospital policies, ensure patient safety, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing with current RN license in Minnesota.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/CALS within first year if not already certified.
• Pre-employment health screening must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation).
• Monitor patients, adjust care with physicians, and ensure effective discharge planning and education.
• Supervise staff and students; coordinate interdisciplinary care; maintain safety and quality initiatives.
