The position is day shift and requires BSN, Montana RN license, and BLS. It includes on-call possibilities and potential float to other units per business need.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care and supports staff during shifts.
• Respond to patient emergencies and disasters as the charge or lead person.
• Collaborates with staffing office to adjust staff for census changes.
• Communicates census, staffing, admissions, and discharges to the oncoming Charge Nurse.
• Supports unit management in productivity, staffing, and timekeeping.
• Participates in hospital committees when needed.
• Promotes Intermountain Health mission and values.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• May float to other departments within scope.
• May be on-call during scheduled shift.
