Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time RN Shift Lead I to provide leadership and clinical expertise on the day shift. The role coordinates unit resources to align staffing with census and acuity, serving as a clinical support and exemplar of professionalism.

The position requires a BSN within four years (or 15 years acute care), Montana RN license, and BLS on hire, with responsibilities including staff supervision, disaster response, and collaboration with the staffing office.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.
• Interdisciplinary teamwork and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and provides direct patient care; supports staff in problem solving.
• Respond to patient emergencies as needed; lead for disasters when required.
• Collaborate with staffing office to adjust staff for census changes.
• Communicate with the Charge Nurse about census, staffing, admissions and discharges.
• Promote Intermountain Health mission and values; participate in hospital committees as needed.
• May float to other departments within competency; may be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
