Qualifications

• BSN Degree from an accredited program required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Current State of Montana Registered Nurse License.
• BLS Certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and/or provides direct patient care. Assist and support staff in responding to and solving patient/family concerns, physician concerns, risk management, staff safety, and hospital safety.
• Respond to patient emergencies as needed and act as charge or lead for disasters.
• Collaborates with staffing office and adjusts numbers of staff for census changes during the shift.
• Communicates with the oncoming Charge Nurse about census, staffing, admissions, discharges, and any problems to be aware of.
• Supports unit management in managing department productivity, staffing, and timekeeping, and coordinates unit activities.
• Promotes Intermountain Health mission and service behavior standards.
