Job summary

Ranger Energy Services, LLC in Hobbs, NM is seeking a Rig Supervisor to manage crew, maintain productivity standards and ensure safe delivery of products and services on the Workover Rig. Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience on a well servicing rig
• Must be able to operate rig components including floor and derrick hands
• Valid state driver’s license or CDL
• Ability to perform manual labor on well servicing equipment
• Knowledge of Ranger Energy equipment and procedures

Responsibilities

• Communicates with management on rig logistics and workflow
• Coordinates with District Manager on rig manning, scheduling and personnel matters
• Guides and directs rig crew on tasks
• Performs BOP inspection and testing as needed
• Maintains equipment and tools, and ensures a clean work site
• Trains, mentors and demonstrates proper use of down-hole tools and power swivels
• Tracks costs, labor, and revenues; provides weekly budget updates to operations manager
