Job summary

Ranger Energy Services seeks a Rig Supervisor – Supervisor–Rig in Kilgore, TX to lead crew, maintain productivity standards and ensure safe, quality service on the workover rig.

The role requires 5-8 years on a well servicing rig, ability to operate and troubleshoot rig equipment, and strong leadership and communication skills. You must hold a valid CDL or be able to obtain one, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience on a well servicing rig preferred.
• Must be able to perform duties of a rig operator, floor hand, and derrick hand.
• CDL or ability to obtain one; valid state driver’s license required.
• Excellent communication, leadership and people skills; able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise rig crew and manage workflow to meet productivity standards.
• Coordinate with District Manager on manning, scheduling, and personnel matters.
• Inspect BOPs and assist in equipment maintenance and safety documentation.
• Train and mentor crew on down-hole tools, power swivels and related equipment.
