Job summary

Ranger Energy Services is seeking a Rig Operator I who will work on rig controls, supervise crew, and ensure safe, productive operations. The role involves coordinating with customer reps, performing inspections, and maintaining equipment readiness on location.

The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on rig experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to work under pressure while following safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Seven (7) years’ experience on a well servicing rig preferred.
• Five (5) years on a well servicing rig preferred.
• Two (2) years as a relief operator preferred.
• Ability to perform duties of Floor Hand III and derrick hand.

Responsibilities

• Promote Stop Work Accountability and RES safety policies.
• Operate the rig safely during rig up/down and pulling operations.
• Inspect equipment, torque calculations, and BOP procedures as needed.
• Train crew members and oversee daily equipment maintenance.
• Oversee safety meetings, hazard documentation, and field tickets.
