Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years Floor Hand experience.
• 1–2 years Derrick hand experience.
• Advanced problem solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and English communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Supervisory level of well control training.
• Class B CDL license to drive workover rig (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew in rigging up/down safely and document post-rig up inspections.
• Pull/lay down rods, tubing, and casing by operating rig controls.
• Guide and manage the rig crew daily.
• Assist in training and mentoring SSE employees and floor hands.
• Assist Rig Manager in tasks on the rig as directed.
• Prepare rig tickets with correct pricing and hours.
• Perform services on oil and gas wells as part of a 3/5-person crew.
• Drive a crew truck when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
