Job summary

Ranger Energy Services is seeking an Operator I to manage rig controls and supervise crew during operations at client sites in Hobbs, NM. You’ll coordinate with customers, perform safety checks, and ensure efficient rig-up/down while maintaining equipment readiness.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, ability to follow procedures, and a commitment to safety. A CDL and on-site availability are highly valued in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience on well servicing rigs preferred.
• Ability to obtain CDL license or valid state license.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate the rig safely during rig up/down and pulling operations.
• Oversee day-to-day lubrication and maintenance of equipment.
• Promote safety policies and ensure Stop Work accountability.
• Train and mentor crew members on day-to-day operations.
• Complete field tickets promptly for processing.

5 years well servicing rig experience

2 years relief operator

Floor Hand III / derrick hand duties

Valid driver’s license / CDL
