Job summary

Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Senior RF Phased Array Engineer I based in Long Beach, CA. You will lead end-to-end RF product development, modeling antenna performance, and guiding production transitions.

The role requires coordinating with RF, digital, power, mechanical, and thermal teams to deliver space-worthy solutions. Applicants should have 5+ years of RF experience and a strong foundation in antennas, link budgets, and RF System design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or RF communications.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Fundamental RF knowledge including link budget analysis and linearity.
• Experience running modeling and simulation of antenna/ phased array performance.
• Strong understanding of RF communications and navigation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design, prototyping, integration, test, and flight development.
• Model and simulate array performance.
• Lead an interdisciplinary team of RF, digital, power, mechanical, thermal, and structural engineers.
• Transition developments from new product introduction to production.
• Interface with vendors and customers and develop test plans for active antennas.
