Job summary

Rocket Lab’s Space Systems team is seeking an RF Phased Array Engineer I/II in Long Beach, CA. You will develop new RF products, simulate antenna performance, and support end-to-end efforts from design to production within a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates combine strong RF fundamentals with practical antenna modeling, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. You will collaborate across RF, digital, power, mechanical, and thermal teams on diverse space programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, RF communications (or equivalent).
• Fundamental RF knowledge including link budget analysis and linearity.
• Basic knowledge of antenna and array modeling.
• Ability to obtain TS / SCI.

Responsibilities

• Support end to end RF phased array development from architecture to production.
• Model and simulate array performance.
• Collaborate with RF, digital, power, mechanical, thermal, and structural teams.
• Develop test plans and procedures for testing active antennas (EIRP & G/T).
• Interface with vendors and customers and contribute to product documentation.
