Job summary

Rocket Lab in Long Beach, CA is seeking an RF Phased Array Engineer I/II to develop RF products and assess COTS components. You will model and simulate antenna performance and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include end-to-end product development, production transition, and collaboration with RF, digital, mechanical, thermal, and other teams, plus providing technical support to customers and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF communications (or an equivalent qualification).
• Fundamental RF knowledge including link budget analysis and linearity.
• Basic knowledge of antenna and array modeling.
• Ability to obtain TS / SCI.

Responsibilities

• Model and simulate array performance.
• Support end‑to‑end RF product development including architecture design, prototyping, integration, test, and flight development.
• Interface with vendors and customers.
• Support proposals and requirements specifications to assess compliance based on existing unit capabilities vs development needs.
• Provide technical support to internal/external customers including general questions and anomaly troubleshooting.
