Curaleaf is seeking a Lead Store Associate in Melrose Park, IL to lead a customer‑facing team and drive exceptional service. You will coach staff, execute opening/closing duties, manage inventory and cash handling, and promote loyalty programs while ensuring compliant, welcoming store operations.

The role requires 21+ years, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year in customer-facing sales with 6 months leadership in retail. Open availability on evenings, weekends, holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer-facing or sales experience.
• At least 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• 6 months of hands-on experience in store operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash drawer reconciliation.
• Experience as a Curaleaf Store Associate or similar role preferred though not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach store associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Drive consultative selling and upsell products on the floor.
• Enroll guests in loyalty programs and capture customer insights.
• Maintain inventory integrity and accurate POS profiles.
• Execute opening and closing duties and cash reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and state regulations.
• Support store leadership and adapt to fast-paced retail demands.
