Curaleaf is hiring a Lead Store Associate in Justice, IL to lead a high-performing retail team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will act as brand ambassador, drive performance, and maintain a compliant, welcoming store environment.

The role requires 21+ years old, a HS diploma or GED, and 1+ year in customer-facing sales with POS and cash handling. Leadership experience and flexible availability are essential for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment.
• 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling.
• 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment.
• 6 months of hands-on experience in retail store operations, including opening/closing and cash reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to create a warm, welcoming environment and coach your team to deliver exceptional service.
• Empower associates to build meaningful customer relationships through personalized product recommendations and expert guidance.
• Drive consultative selling on the floor through open-ended questions, active listening, and product education.
• Foster loyalty by enrolling guests in rewards programs and capturing customer insights.
• Resolve customer concerns with empathy and professionalism and turn challenges into trust-building opportunities.
• Maintain a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace with strong teamwork at checkout.
• Execute opening/closing duties, daily huddles, and cash reconciliation.
• Verify IDs and maintain accurate POS profiles.
• Ensure inventory integrity through processing and order fulfillment.
• Lead inventory counts and overnight audits.
• Maintain a clean, guest-ready store and comply with SOPs and safety protocols.
• Achieve daily KPI goals through upselling and product knowledge.
