Job summary

Highground is seeking a Lead Technician to lead a team of technicians on restoration projects in the Tampa area. You will supervise projects, ensure safety and SOP compliance, and perform demolition with hand and power tools while maintaining thorough drying documentation.

You will partner with the In-Home Sales Specialist to address client needs, drive service quality, and operate company vehicles safely. A strong work ethic, equipment familiarity, and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong customer service skills with a desire to help people in difficult situations.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to learning, continuous improvement, and personal growth.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to support others and contribute to a team environment.
• Experience in construction, plumbing, water mitigation, carpentry or related fields preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians to complete projects on time and within scope.
• Ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed on all sites.
• Conduct demolition using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Document drying progress with moisture meters and preserve accurate records.
• Coordinate with In-Home Sales Specialist for additional services.
• Operate a company vehicle in a safe, compliant manner.
• Complete daily compliance tasks in DASH.
• Maintain strong attention to detail to deliver high-quality service.
