Job summary

Highground is seeking a Lead Technician in Fort Myers, FL, to lead a team of technicians on restoration projects. The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and high-quality workmanship on-site.

You will manage daily operations, communicate with the In-Home Sales Specialist, and ensure documentation and compliance requirements are met. A strong customer-service mindset and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong customer service skills and desire to help people.
• IICRC certification is a plus (not required).
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and grow within the company.
• 1–2 years of construction/water mitigation/carpentry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of technicians to oversee job projects from start to finish, ensuring tasks are completed on plan and on time.
• Ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed to maintain safety, quality, and a professional image on all job sites.
• Conduct clean, safe, and precise demolition using hand and power tools.
• Document drying progress using moisture meters and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with the In-Home Sales Specialist to report additional services needed.
• Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites safely and in compliance with policies.
• Complete all applicable compliance tasks in DASH daily.
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality service.
