Job summary

Lennar is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee home construction in assigned communities, ensuring quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. The role involves site management, trade partner supervision, and adherence to safety and building codes.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, managing change orders, and maintaining budgetary discipline across stages from pre-construction to move-in. A strong CM background is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Residential construction management experience required.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Build Pro, Procore, and related CM software.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Knowledge of building codes and ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction activities from inception to move-in, managing job sites, scheduling, and supervising trade partners.
• Conduct twice-daily home walks to monitor progress and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Negotiate solutions with inspectors and trade partners to maintain budget and drive CIP improvements.
• Manage trade partner communications and invoice approvals through Build Pro.
• Collaborate with sales, customer care, and management to resolve issues.
• Ensure safety, site cleanliness, and compliance with building codes; maintain safety logs.
• Handle documentation, change orders, purchase orders, and site records.
