Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a senior SCADA Design Lead for nationwide utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will own the in-house SCADA design, set standards, and mentor engineers while supporting commissioning readiness and long-term reliability.

You will lead complex design workstreams, produce drawings in AutoCAD and Visio, and serve as the primary technical escalation point for SCADA configurations across PV, BESS, and wind projects.

Qualifications

• Experience leading SCADA design for utility-scale PV/BESS projects.
• Strong drawing and documentation skills across diagrams, port maps, powering diagrams, and BOMs.
• Ability to review complex SCADA configurations and provide senior technical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house SCADA design for utility-scale renewable energy projects including Solar PV, Wind, and BESS.
• Develop and enforce SCADA design standards and best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with OT teams on hardware requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and field personnel for commissioning support and FATs.
• Produce and review project drawings and documentation in AutoCAD and Visio.
• Act as senior design SME in customer-facing meetings and technical reviews.
