Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Lead Refrigeration Engineer for its G&D sector. You will design advanced building systems, prepare design documents, perform calculations, and mentor a design team across disciplines.

You will drive project success from concept through completion, ensure quality and schedule adherence, and contribute to business development and client relationships. PE licensed engineers with Revit and Bluebeam proficiency are ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 9+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years with high school diploma.
• PE license required; may count toward experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or directs simple to complex design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics, specs.
• Leads project and design efforts from concept to completion.
• Reviews shop drawings for conformance to plans and specs.
• Mentors less experienced designers and engineers; may supervise staff.
• Oversees quality of projects via reviews and checks.
• Develops and maintains relationships with partners and clients.
• Collaborates with project managers on staffing and delivery.
• Supports business development and risk management activities.
