Job summary

Henderson Engineers, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to experienced Refrigeration Designer to contribute expert engineering design across six market sectors, blending in-field experience from Henderson Building Solutions to deliver a superior client experience.

You will perform calculations, develop electrical layouts, and review drawings while advancing your knowledge of industry software such as Revit, Bluebeam Revu, and Microsoft Office. A PE license is preferred for Experienced level candidates.

Qualifications

• Engineering design principles applied to refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Experience coordinating projects and teams in an engineering context.
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and mechanical design tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs calculations and designs basic to advanced engineering systems with a high degree of independence.
• Prepares basic to advanced electrical system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
• Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications.
• Performs research and makes recommendations on feasibility of systems or equipment.
• Assists with developing relationships with strategic partners and customers in support of business development.
• Proactively seeks opportunities to learn industry software, including Revit and Bluebeam Revu.
• May support project coordination activities such as managing emails, coordinating scope and schedule, and client meetings.
• Acts as a resource for training or assisting others as needed.
