Job summary

Henderson Engineers seeks a Lead Refrigeration Engineer in our G&D sector to design advanced building systems, develop design documents, and mentor staff. You will lead project teams, coordinate with clients and architects, and drive engineering excellence across multiple disciplines.

The role requires a PE license and strong experience in building systems, with responsibilities spanning business development, risk management, and production of high-quality design outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering and 9+ years of relevant experience (or 10+ with HS diploma).
• PE license required; FE exam preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design, codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts from concept through completion; manage scope and schedule.
• Review drawings for conformance to plans and specs; mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate with clients, architects and contractors to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and customers.
• Ensure quality and consistency through design reviews and standards.
