Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Lead Refrigeration Engineer to design advanced building systems, mentor staff, and drive project success from concept to completion. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and lead technical reviews while guiding project execution and client relations.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 9–10 years of engineering experience, and strong skills in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural engineering.
• 9–10 years of relevant experience.
• PE license is required.
• FE exam is preferred.
• Certifications (CDP, LEED, WELL) preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and direct design documents, layouts, drawings, schematics and specs.
• Lead design efforts from concept through completion.
• Review shop drawings for conformance.
• Evaluate products and their applications to projects.
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior staff.
• Maintain quality, schedule and budget targets; manage scope.
