Carvana is seeking a Reconditioning Manager to supervise an Inspection Center, directing up to 70 associates in a lean environment. You’ll drive continuous improvement while meeting quality, production, and cost objectives.

You will mentor staff, manage training and certification, and ensure production capacity aligns with schedule. The role emphasizes safety, performance metrics, and a positive team culture within Carvana’s values.

Qualifications

• 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience leading and developing associates.
• Proven ability to obtain project deliverables and company metrics.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center.
• Provide mentoring and accountability to direct reports and succession planning through coaching and training.
• Participate in development and execution of strategic plans aligned with the company.
• Ensure adherence to standing policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Train and mentor leads and associates to ensure competency-based feedback and progression.
