Children's Specialized ABA is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to guide and mentor a classroom team at our Owings Mills, MD center. You will provide hands-on ABA therapy, implement BCBA-designed goals, and collaborate closely with BCBAs to ensure treatment integrity.

Here you’ll lead classroom systems, mentor peers, and partner with families to share progress. A strong focus on documentation, consistency, and ongoing education is essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma is required.
• Active, unexpired RBT Certification — required, and must be maintained throughout tenure.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as an RBT in a center-based service setting.
• BCBA student status strongly preferred.
• Detail-oriented approach to reports and session notes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort learning new systems like Central Reach.
• Internal candidates: must meet 80% on competencies and be in good standing.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on ABA therapy one-on-one or in group sessions, bringing energy and consistency to every child you work with.
• Bring BCBA-designed goals to life — reinforcement, teaching, and behavior-reduction procedures, discrete trial teaching, and more.
• Use judgment within BCBA-approved frameworks to adapt strategies while partnering with BCBAs on treatment integrity.
• Conduct and help interpret stimulus preference assessments and collaborate with BCBAs on client goals and checklists.
• Keep documentation sharp — data collection, session notes, and program books, with entries in Central Reach within 24 hours.
• Design creative teaching and therapeutic materials that make learning click.
• Own classroom organization, weekly schedules, and activity programming to keep days running smoothly.
• Forecast and manage supplies and inventory so the team has what they need.
• Design and send out monthly newsletters to families and staff.
• Champion employee engagement with shout-outs, rewards, and celebrations.
• Be the go-to resource for new BTs/RBTs and provide real-time feedback.
