Children's Specialized ABA – Autism Center of Excellence in Owings Mills, MD, seeks a Lead Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to guide classrooms, mentor teammates, and partner with BCBA supervisors to drive quality care for children with autism.

The role emphasizes clinical leadership, direct care, and program development in a full-time, on-site setting, with a focus on supervision, documentation, and family collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active, unexpired RBT certification and maintained throughout tenure.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as an RBT in a center-based service setting.
• BCBA student status strongly preferred.
• A detail-oriented approach to reports and session notes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort learning new systems like Central Reach.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on ABA therapy one-on-one or in group sessions.
• Bring BCBA-designed goals to life with reinforcement and DTT.
• Use judgment within BCBA-approved frameworks and collaborate with BCBAs.
• Conduct and help interpret stimulus preference assessments with BCBA input.
• Keep accurate data collection, session notes, and program books; document in Central Reach within 24 hours.
• Design teaching and therapeutic materials to enhance learning.
