Job summary

Children's Specialized ABA in North Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a Lead Registered Behavior Technician to guide classrooms and mentor newer staff. The role emphasizes leadership, structured ABA delivery, and collaboration with BCBAs to progress every child’s goals.

You will work on-site, with a core schedule and ongoing professional development, while maintaining client confidentiality and following BACB guidelines and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Active, unexpired RBT Certification — required and maintained.
• Minimum of 6 months experience as an RBT in a center-based setting.
• BCBA student status strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Central Reach preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on ABA therapy one-on-one or in group sessions, bringing energy and consistency to every child you work with.
• Implement BCBA-designed goals to life — reinforcement, teaching, and behavior-reduction procedures, discrete trial teaching, and more.
• Collaborate with BCBAs on treatment integrity and client goals.
• Maintain sharp documentation — data collection, session notes, and program books, with updates in Central Reach within 24 hours.
• Lead classroom organization, schedules, and therapy programming to keep daily operations smooth.
• Engage families with progress updates and partnership in care.
