Children's Specialized ABA in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Lead RBT to supervise classrooms, mentor BTs/RBTs, and collaborate with BCBAs to advance client goals. You will manage routines, design activities, and ensure consistent, high-quality care across sessions.

The role emphasizes leadership, hands-on ABA therapy, and partnership with families. A strong RBT background, 6 months center-based experience, and BCBA learner status are valued, with on-site hours from 8:45am to 5:15pm.

Qualifications

• Active, unexpired RBT Certification required and maintained.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience as an RBT in a center-based service setting.
• BCBA student status strongly preferred.
• Detail-oriented approach to reports and session notes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfort learning new systems like Central Reach.
• Internal candidates: must meet 80% on competencies and be in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on ABA therapy one-on-one or in group sessions.
• Implement BCBA-designed goals including reinforcement and DTT.
• Adapt strategies in the moment within BCBA-approved frameworks in collaboration with BCBAs.
• Support stimulus preference assessments and collaborate on client goals and checklists.
• Maintain sharp documentation: data, session notes, and program books.
• Design teaching materials that aid learning.
• Own classroom organization, weekly schedules and activity programming.
• Forecast and manage supplies and inventories to ensure team needs are met.
• Draft monthly newsletters to keep families and staff informed.
• Support employee engagement through recognition activities.
• Be the first friendly face and go-to resource for new BTs/RBTs; mentor and coach teammates.
• Train and provide real-time feedback; cover clinic as needed and meet competency benchmarks.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers with warmth and clarity.
• Protect client well-being, confidentiality, and professionalism.
