Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Diagnostic Technologist, Lead in Radiology to perform quality control on images and coordinate workflow. You will ensure image quality, proper labeling, and timely reporting to Radiologists, while guiding after-hours patient flow and serving as an on-site resource in the absence of leadership.

Requires ARRT registration, BLS CPR, and at least 1 year of radiologic technologist experience; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology.
• AHA BLS Provider CPR required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Experience with healthcare information systems and Epic preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical quality review of images obtained in Diagnostic Radiology, ensuring high quality and adequate diagnostic information.
• Verifies images are accurately labeled and patient information is managed during digital acquisition, transmission, and storage.
• Ensures all information with current images is present for radiologist interpretation.
• Coordinates Radiology workflow to facilitate image acquisition and results reporting.
