Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to provide high-quality CT imaging and support PET procedures. You will prepare patients, review orders, and ensure accurate documentation for timely interpretation by radiologists.

The role emphasizes department leadership, training new CT staff, monitoring performance metrics, and maintaining compliance with accreditation standards while delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• State license required for outpatient facilities.
• ARRT or NMTCB CT certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• 3 years CT experience; 5 years preferred.
• PET: CNMT or ARRT Nuclear Medicine required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for CT exams by confirming orders and identities.
• Performs CT exams on all age groups and maintains competency.
• Reports and files patient/procedural data for records.
• Maintains CT/PET department schedules and inventory.
• Preceptor to newly hired CT staff and maintains training.
• Reviews image quality and documents results.
• Supports accreditation and compliance activities.
