Job summary

Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients and perform routine radiographic procedures per physician orders. You will produce high-quality images and present results with relevant studies for Radiologist interpretation, while supporting safety, education, and program initiatives.

The role requires ARRT certification (or registry-eligibility with passing within one year), a two-year Radiologic Technology program, a VA state license, and AHA BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or registry-eligibility; must pass exam within one year if eligible at hire.
• Completion of accredited two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• VA State Radiologic Technologist License required for outpatient facilities.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Three years relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiology examinations with verified orders and patient histories.
• Performs radiology procedures across age groups and maintains competency.
• Ensures safety, proper documentation, and quality patient care.
• Maintains and operates imaging systems (iSite PACs, syngo, Soarian).
• Mentors students and supports radiology cross-training programs.
