Job summary
Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a senior quantitative systems pharmacology scientist to develop multiscale disease models that guide drug discovery. You will survey literature, identify key physiological processes, and integrate internal data to advance modeling efforts.
The role requires PhD or relevant experience in QSP, strong differential equation modeling skills, and proficiency in MATLAB, Julia, and R. Excellent communication with stakeholders is essential.
Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s with industry experience in disease modeling or QSP.
- Proficiency in mathematical modeling using differential equations.
- Experience with MATLAB, Julia and R is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply multiscale computational models of complex diseases to support drug discovery.
- Survey literature to identify physiological processes and mechanistic elements.
- Identify and analyze internal preclinical and clinical data to inform modeling.
- Analyze simulations and resolve model performance issues.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of model development and analyses.
- Maintain quantitative systems pharmacology expertise through ongoing education.
- Communicate modeling predictions to stakeholders.
