Job summary

Eureka Multifamily Group seeks an experienced Affordable Property Manager to oversee daily operations, leasing, and financial performance of a HUD/LIHTC property in Austin. You will supervise the Maintenance staff, manage budgets, and ensure regulatory compliance across programs.

You will coordinate with regional leaders, maintain resident relations, and lead efforts to maximize occupancy and renewals while delivering high service levels to residents and owners.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of affordable housing property management experience.
• COS certification preferred on HUD governed properties.
• Certification as a resident manager.
• Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Maintain property records and lease files per program requirements (HUD/LIHTC/ADHP/HOME/Bond).
• Prepare, manage and monitor budgets and variances.
• Oversee leasing, wait lists, resident relations and customer service.
• Supervise Maintenance Supervisor and staff; ensure timely work orders.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare for and respond to HUD/REAC inspections and program audits.
• Ensure compliance with HUD/LIHTC/ADHP/HOME/Bond rules and reporting.
