Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support inside and exterior community upkeep, safety, and appearance to meet Greystar standards. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring common areas are well-maintained.

You will manage work orders, oversee make-ready tasks for vacant units, and coordinate with vendors while maintaining inventory and supporting the Community Manager with budget adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or demonstrated training.
• Proven experience in property maintenance or related trades.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair issues in buildings, grounds, and common areas per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, scheduling vendors and inspections.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies within budget.
• Conduct periodic inspections and ensure contractor work meets quality standards.
